As announced earlier ,royal family descendant of Maharaja Serafoji of Tanjore delivered his answers for our mail interview .We take the privilege of publishing it.

A small biography 
Prince Pratap Sinha Serfoji RajeBhosle is the 14th descendent of Thanjavur Maratha Royal Family and also the 6th Descendent of Maharajah Serfoji ll. An 22 years old Engineer by Profession has authored a book on his ansestors titled "Contributions of Thanjavur Maratha Kings" with a brief history of Cholas and Nayaks. he also runs a facebook page and blogger related to maratha dynasty of thanjavur and also about its heritage monuments titled in the name of his private  museum "Maharajah Serfoji 2 Memorial Hall  Museum, Sadar Mahal Palace Thanjavur"

Prince Pratap Sinha Raje Bhosle alias Rana son of Serfoji Rajah Bhosle (elder son of Tulajendra Rajah Bhosle) of Sadar Mahal Palace,Thanjavur born on 19TH November 1993. He has  recently completed B.Tech in Chennai. He is like his grandfather and father, has interest in doing research on Thanjavur Maratha dynasty and also to collect rare antiques like coins, photographs etc. He has flair knowledge of history of Marathas of Thanjavur. Recently he has completed a course on Conservation of Museum at Egmore Museum, Chennai and a short term course on marathi and Modi Script at Thanjavur Maharajah Serfoji’s Saraswathi Mahal Library, Thanjavur. He is enthusiastic in learning new things. Further, in Chennai he is a volunteer for many Organizations (N.G.O's) and also attended many workshops and events and won certificates for his best performances. He created a facebook page and blogger to bring awareness to the antiques and heritage monuments in and around Thanjavur. The youths are getting connected and things reach quickly, he contributes his collections of old rare photographs of Thanjavur and the Maratha rulers of Thanjavur to help the young lovers of history who have intension to know about Thanjavur kingdom. He also takes efforts to improve, develop and also to give publicity to the richness of his Museum and his Town. he had also authored a book titled "Contributions of Thanjavur Maratha Kings" and is on sales in flipkart.com 

1.What inspired you towards writing a book on Maratha history?
I  run  a blogger and facebook page on maratha dynasty of thanjavur, i use to get good response all over the world. many people suggested me to write a book on my ansestors after seeing my interesting posts on my page and blogger. this motivated me to write a book which titled " Contributions of Thanjavur Maratha Kings"

2.How do you feel about ancient town planning system?

 Ancient town planning system shows us the knowlege of peoples of those days. The engineers who constructed forts and dams decades before still exists. This shows the unique talent and knowledge and skills of engineers who planned the system this cannot be compared in todays work.

3.what is the state of current history in your view?
We live in a democratic country and history should be motivated and supported.
4.History and future are always connected is a famous quote.
Your view on it.
 For example take in  a royal family, the one will have a genes   of his great ansestors who may lived many years ago. What his descendents would may done in his period the same he would also be doing in future in a advanced manner
5.As an enthusiasist your advice to college goers on history side?

History should be motivated and supported. It should not be ignored and avoided. Everyone  should encourage historians  so that the exact history should not get faded in future.
